Bob Johnston

With over two decades of stand-up, performing in comedy clubs across the Western US, Bob Johnston has been called “The ONLY Redneck in the Bay Area”. With degrees in chemistry and biology and after having worked in the Biotech Industry, he says, “It doesn’t take brains to get a four-year degree in 13 years!” Having worked blue-collar construction and concrete jobs, as well as a UPS driver and Taco Bell manager, to a state employee and firefighter – his hilarious, personal material are stories and jokes that every audience can relate to and laugh at until it hurts.

Bob Johnston has opened for The Stylistics and The Greg Kihn Band, and has performed with Richard Lewis, Ralphie May, Tony Rock, Bruce Bruce, Mark Curry, and a host of others. He was featured in the 2007 Jeff Mosley Documentary, “Comedy Ain’t for the Money.”

From jokes about balding, marriage and ex-girlfriends to traffic issues, Bob Johnston will leave you wanting more. He grew up in a small town and brings his high energy to every stage. You’ll enjoy how his unique brand of comedy morphs from the high tech world to the blue-collar life.

Jeanette Marin

Jeanette Marin is a stay-at-home-mom by day and a stand-up comedian by night. She apparently gravitates towards jobs with long titles and very little pay. When she is not wiping noses at home, she delights audiences by saying what mothers are never supposed to admit in public! Willing to travel long distances for an excuse to leave the house, she has performed up and down the west coast from Seattle to San Diego. She has also performed at every major Bay Area comedy club as well as every bar, coffee shop, pizza joint and backyard that will have her across the country. Being selected for The International San Francisco Comedy Competition and as a featured comedian at the Cinequest Film Festival are some of the recent highlights.
